As I read Ephesians 1:4 about how the Lord "loves us and chose us in Christ", it made me think about the time in my life when I was without God, and had no knowledge of His plan for my life. It seems far away now, but there was a time when I was lost, and God sought me out through the Baldwins to show me that He had a bigger plan for my life than I could have imagined. I am reminded of those to whom we are reaching out, and how many of them have no idea that God has a wonderful plan in store for them if only they are willing to accept Christ. I know how deeply God loves each and every one of His creations, as He has pulled me back from a life full of desperation, and I am so looking forward to witnessing His power move through those with whom we come in contact. I pray that during this time of preparation we can strive to make the love and compassion of God clear to those around us, as we ready ourselves to boldly proclaim the love of Jesus to Montreal.
