Mission Day Two

Another day to serve the Lord, and another successful event.

The Spanish Team left for the second day of their camp, where they broke back into the Rojo and Azul teams, and started singing Spanish songs that represented the Bible story of the day (Cain and Abel and the Prodigal Son). Caleb and Daniel led the kids in English songs, This Is The Day, How Great Is Our God, and Hallelujah. They later went to the park, where the team led recreation through a soccer game, and each game represented the importance of trusting each other and trusting in God.

The Construction Team cleared out the garage to make space for Pastor Vinning's new loft area, and planned the full construction job for immediate work tomorrow. Not much else was accomplished, due to lack of time.

While the Construction Team continued their works, a small group of us went prayerwalking around a local park. We praised God for giving us such a beautiful day to work for Him, and continued to pray for each mission team, as well as for God to sweep all of Canada with a miracle for His glory.

Later on, everyone met up for a picnic on Mont Royal, followed by a few hours of relaxation and recreation in Old Montreal.

After the trip to Old Montreal, another group got together at Pastor Timothy Im's house, where they had conversations in English to a group of Chinese-speaking immigrants. The purpose in having conversations was not only to improve their English, but to also form relationships with these people in hopes of allowing them to have the opportunity to have a personal relationship with Jesus. One of the Chinese students even came from the tennis clinic Jonathan and Kevin held earlier in the day!

Again, pictures tell the stories much better than words can, and we praise God for giving this opportunity to share them with you!

  2. O how beautiful are the feet of those who carry the good news of God's grace. BEAUTIFUL!

Father, How we all praise You for our lives, lives filled with Your love, filled with Your Spirit, to co-labor with You in Your Kingdom's work. Thank You for each and every entrustment. We bow in humble adoration in praise and joy as we serve and seek to please You. Direct all of our feet today to accomplish Your will for our good and Your glory! Bless, we pray, each one of this mission team, each one they work with in Canada, each minister and worker there with every provision to accomplish Your purposes today. Especially now we ask that You embrace Pastor Garry Baldwin with Your immeasurable peace and joy. We thank You for his life that has and is being spent for Your glory. Thank You for the day he was born. Thank You for the celebration of his life today on his birthday.
    In the Master's name. Amen

  4. Hi, Guys,
We are so glad you are there, preaching the Gospel of Christ. I found this today:

    Romans 15:20~
Yea, so have I strived to preach the Gospel,
not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation (21.) But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.

    Wow!! That is awesome!

By the way, you are missed, especially my sweet son :), but many are praying for all this!! And we are sooo glad for all the Lord is accomplishing thru you all.

fyi: I put the group picture on our desktop of our computer. Directions on how, for anyone reading this to do that~and pray for each one!

    1. Double click on the picture on the mq2009.blogspot.com picture, then right-click on the mouse and choose option--Save to Desktop or Make this your Desktop....(I learned that...so I thought I could pass that on!) Then it will be right there on the front of your computer. :)

    God is soooo good!

    Love ya'll so much,
    Betty

  5. Traditional Canadian Outreach With
    "CORN ON THE COB"

    Sounds delightful!

We had fresh sweet NC corn for supper this evening! Just for fun I counted the kernels on my ear of corn....592! When 1 kernel is planted by man and God gives the increase one stalk of corn can yield 2-4 ears. Some stalks yield one ear depending on the kind, but just think about the increase!!!! So excited that your participating in this outreach! PRAYING that as you plant the seeds of the Gospel during this CORN ON THE COB outreach that the yield will be more than can be counted. What a wonderful way to celebrate the harvest! Thank You Lord of the harvest!

    WE SERVE AN AWESOME GOD!

TU DIOS ESTA MUY LARGO Y MUY BUENO!! MUCHAS GRACIOS, JESU....MUCHAS GRACIOS!
